Dia de los Muertos.Mexican people also paint sugar skulls on their faces to celebrate their loved ones. Originally the ancestors would wear masks in the form of skulls, but over time it adapted into painting skulls onto their faces. The Mexican holiday is traced back to an Aztec festival which was dedicated to the Goddess Michtecacihuatl.
