Harley Quinn
For my clown assessment at college in 2012 I had to apply prosthetics and a bald cap. I decided to move away from the traditional clowns and go for a more comic book version. I decided to use the character from Batman known as Harley Quinn, the Joker’s girlfriend.
I made two holes into the bald cap to pull blonde hair through to appear as ponytails. I also made a prosthetic mouth piece to appear as a big smile. I then gave her scars shaped like bats and diamonds and a Chelsea smile. All of these were to make it look like the Joker had tortured Harley, making her go as crazy as him.

Lady Lavender
For my college final major project in 2012 I had to pick a character from cluedo or murder mysteries. I chose Lady Lavender, who was a botanist.
I styled a lavender synthetic wig into a bird’s nest, and then styled her to look like her plants had poisoned her. I made prosthetic pieces that were either imprints of bird feet or holes that ivy leaves grew out of her skin and up into her hair.
The makeup I chose/designed for her had an Illamasqua ‘Toxic Nature’ vibe to it!

The Lady of the Lake
For my university prosthetic exam in 2014 I had to create a fantasy based character. I chose to create the Lady of the Lake, but made her more realistic or gruesome.
I made prosthetic cheek pieces, sculpted her cheeks to look like they were decaying, thus creating a waterlogged corpse.
I also gave her 1920s flapper styled makeup but instead of dark colours, but paler shades of white and blue. To give a bit more of a fantasy feel I added blue glitter to her hair and waterlilies.

Male Incarnation of Medusa
For my university advanced prosthetic exam in 2015 I had to create a character within the realms of a dark nightmare. I chose to do a Male Incarnation of Medusa, with a biker vibe.
I made full facial prosthetics, making my model appear snake like, with slit nostrils and a giant fanged mouth, with a fork tongue. I also applied a bald cap and glued snakes in the form of a Mohawk. I teamed the look with a leather jacket and biker boots.
